Welcome to The Meeting Place Tea Room. The Meeting Place is located centrally in Bournville Village and has seen an increase in popularity since being featured in the BBC series “Great British Railway Journeys” in which Michael Portillo is seen interviewing the owner Sue Humpage about the history of Bournville. It has also been used on several occasions for filming the Midlands based drama series “Doctors”.

The tea room is busy all day with locals and tourists visiting Cadbury World who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and good home made food. There is seating outside the front of the tea room and a peaceful and relaxing garden at the rear with an air raid shelter for good measure, which thankfully we’ve not had to use yet!

All the food is made on the premises, which a number of staff get involved in. Gluten and dairy free dishes and cakes are available. There are a number of breakfast dishes available until 12 p.m. and a most amazing “all day breakfast panini” which should keep you going as the title suggests, all day.

For lunch there are sandwiches, jacket potatoes, paninis, wraps and soup of the day available plus a selection of specials every day. In the afternoon why not try one of our delicious cakes with a cup of freshly ground coffee or tea of your choice; or maybe a cream tea. There is also afternoon tea available, although booking is required to avoid disappointment.

Open Tuesday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
